Dear Physie,

My name is Daniel Moore and I am interested in joining a Physie club in Victoria. I see on your 'about' page it costs $40 to join. At first I thought this to be a bit steep, but then you cleverly point out that it equates to $6 per lesson. That's a bargain in anyone's book!

Anyway, a bit about me. I am a 29 year old man (I don't look a day over 26 LOL) who just loves fun and winning. I see you have regular Physie competitions and I guarantee you I will give it 100% almost every time.

So if you could send me some information, I would be very appreciative.

Our association however, only provides a Ladies and girls' syllabus so unfortunately we would not be able to help you with men's classes.

Hi Maxine,

Thank you for replying to my email. Is there any possibility of a mens syllabus starting up anytime soon? If not, would you be annoyed if I started my own Physie for men? I'm sure you must get a lot of requests from men about joining up as it looks like a fun thing to do while staying fit and building confidence. My sisters used to do Physie and sometimes they would show me how to do it and I've been facinated ever since.

As you can appreciate, it has taken a lot of courage to send this request as some people may think of me as a 'pansie', a 'wally woofter' or 'nancy boy'. I assure you I'm none of these things.

Yes, I'm a bit effeminate... you got me, LOL.

So yeah, can I start my own and call if Physie for men?

I have your email requesting permission for you to start teaching a mens syllabus of physical culture. I am afraid this is not a possibility as to teach for us you must have previously been a member for a number of years and be fully acquainted with our system of exercise and dance.
